FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, in particular to design of wheels, allowing to operate vehicle with low pressure in tires, eliminating risk of wheel disintegration, as well as continue movement after loss of pressure in tires, while maintaining control of the car. Wheel insert comprises metal thin-walled spring strip, connected into ring, and a composite spacer ring, which is attached to the inner side of the metal thin-walled strip, the ends of which are connected by the retainer to the control platform, in which the threaded hole is made. A pin facing the inside of the ring is secured at the middle of the length of the metal thin-wall strip. On the free end of the pin there are external and internal threads. On the thin-walled metal strip and on the spacer ring, respectively, a hole is made, complementary to the hole in the control area in the closed position of the retainer.
EFFECT: increased reliability of wheel operation at low pressure, simplified assembly and wider field of application of wheel inserts.
