FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a trailer driven by an electric motor. Trailer with electric motor drive comprises wheel, electric motor, energy accumulator, towbar, sensor unit, control unit and mechanical actuator. Sensor unit is configured to measure occurring deviations of distance between tractor and trailer from neutral position and generate electric measurement signal corresponding to deviation of distance. Control unit is configured to decelerate the trailer in response to the sensing unit measurement electrical signal and with possibility to control electric motor in response to electric signal of sensing unit measurement for trailer acceleration. Mechanical actuator is configured to be independent from trailer brake control unit in response to distance deviation.
EFFECT: possibility of towing a tractor with a tractor with a low level of power consumption and improved ride comfort.
