FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to trailer brake systems. Trailer brake actuated by braking system braking system signal of towing vehicle, brake line of which is not connected with trailer brake line, comprises braking system control unit, hydraulic accumulator, electric valves, accumulation tank and brake mechanism drive. Control unit consists of three parallel connected elements: hydraulic spool distributor, two-mode hydraulic element and resilient device arranged in one housing, which is fixedly fixed on trailer frame. All rods of elements are rigidly connected to each other and connected via trailer hitch head with tractor vehicle. Dual-mode element is equipped with a hydro-lock function in traction mode and a damper of longitudinal oscillations - in braking mode, the resilient device is made with the function of elastic coupling of the tractor and trailer. Hydraulic spool distributor is equipped with a servo system function that ensures optimum braking mode of the trailer. Three elements together with elements of braking mechanism and trailer form closed automatic control system.
EFFECT: higher speed of braking system.
