FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of road construction, in particular to road frontal barriers, providing stop or redirection (correction) of the trajectory of the vehicle during movement with the maximum allowable speed for this category of road, providing safety for road users, as well as safety of road construction elements, in front of which there are road fences. Road frontal fences comprises energy-absorbing elements, arranged between side protective panels, front protective panel and rope mechanisms, wherein energy-absorbing modules are made in form of shaped faceted pipes connected to each other by adjacent faces, and cable mechanisms ropes are connected to part of energy-absorbing elements by means of U-shaped parts - supports mounted on two adjacent energy absorbing elements and having slots for rope accommodation. Number of faces of each energy-absorbing element may be from 6 to 20. Connection of energy-absorbing elements to each other through adjoining faces is expedient to implement bolted (collapsible) connections. Preferable embodiment of each side protective panel is in the form of sheets with bend on the side of vehicle movement.

EFFECT: it is also advisable to perform energy-absorbing elements with different thicknesses of walls and to place them so that energy-absorbing elements with the thinnest walls will be located near the front protective panel, and energy absorbing elements with the thickest walls - on the opposite end of the damper.
