FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to current conducting, screening and sealing elastomer materials and is used in various radio high-frequency and super-high-frequency devices for civil, military and space purposes as current conducting seals, screening elements and protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI). Current-conducting elastomer consists of a silicone-based binder or a fluorine silicone or an ethylene-propylene copolymer and contains spherically shaped finely dispersed particles with dimensions from 50 to 100 mcm of aluminum, or graphite or copper, coated with silver as an electroconductive filler. Composition contains finely dispersed particles of spherical shape with sizes from 10 to 40 mcm of aluminum, or graphite, or copper, coated with silver.
EFFECT: invention increases volume fraction of current-conducting filler in material while maintaining other basic physical characteristics, as well as increases specific number of points of contact per unit cross-section.
