FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices used in preventers intended for sealing of wellheads of oil and gas wells with various types of support flanged wellhead accessories, including ultra-viscous oil (UVO) wells with inclined mouth and two-row string. Preventer with replaceable ring comprises preventer with cast lower flange. Bottom flange of preventer is made with connecting and sealing size corresponding to minimum dimensions of support flange of wellhead accessories. Preventer is equipped with replaceable ring made by connecting and sealing sizes, corresponding to sizes of that support flange of wellhead equipment on which preventer is attached, wherein replaceable ring is installed under lower flange with possibility of tight attachment by bolt joint, lower flange of preventer is equipped with metal ring. Connection size of lower flange corresponds to center-to-center diameter of bolted joint made in replaceable ring. Lifting lugs are rigidly fixed on body of preventer and shifted in height relative to each other with possibility of installation of preventer at the head of inclined well. Replaceable ring is made with annular grooves to install sealing metal rings. Method of installation of preventer with replaceable ring on support flange of wellhead accessories includes collection of equipment and installation of ram preventer. Previously, preventer mounted on the housing hoisting eyelets 180° relative to each other and with displacement relative to each other in vertical plane. Preventer is selected with minimum connecting and sealing dimensions of lower flange corresponding to support flange of wellhead accessories, lower flange of preventer is tightly connected to replaceable ring of larger size than lower flange, but corresponding to dimensions of support flange of wellhead equipment, then preventer with replaceable ring is lifted by lifting lugs with inclination angle corresponding to inclination angle of support flange of well with inclined mouth and tightly fixed on support flange of wellhead accessories. Replaceable ring is made with sizes connecting and sealing, equal to standard sizes of support flanges of wellhead accessories. If it is necessary to fix preventer to support flange of wellhead accessories of another standard size, replace replaceable ring with another replaceable ring corresponding to that of support flange of wellhead, on which preventer will be attached.
EFFECT: reduced duration of mounting (dismantling) preventer on support flange of wellhead equipment, higher efficiency of installation preventer on different standard sizes of support flange of well with inclined mouth due to creation of replaceable ring, which during installation does not require special technical knowledge and tools, enables quick ring replacement, higher safety of work at the well head of inclined wells UVO and in critical situation at occurrence of OGWI, simplification and reduction of costs for manufacturing of transient coils of lower flange of preventer, as well as reduction of preventer height on support flange of wellhead accessories.
