SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for determining dynamic scattering area of a hypersonic cruise missile. Method, in which values of corners of nutation, precession and proper rotation, characterizing orientation of target relative to line of sight of radar detection station, depending on which the value of the effective scattering area of the hypersonic cruise missile is determined, setting initial data for simulation, calculating coordinates of the center of mass of the HSCM, calculating elements of the matrix of guide cosines, method includes recalculating coordinates of a radar detection station, calculating a matrix of guide cosines between a bound and a target coordinate system.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy of determination of dynamic effective scattering area of hypersonic cruise missile.
