FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing polyethylene powder containing at least one additive, comprising preparation of a solution containing at least one additive, operating at temperature in range of 25 to 50 °C, at rotation speed in range of 1 to 100 rpm, for a time in range of 10 to 50 minutes, adding said solution to at least one polyethylene powder, obtained by (co)polymerisation in gaseous phase, and holding the obtained composition while stirring, at rotation speed in range of 10 to 100 rpm, at temperature in range from 25 to 50 °C, during time in range from 10 to 60 minutes. Polyethylene powder containing at least one additive has melt flow index (MFI) measured at 190 °C with load of 2.16 kg in accordance with ISO standard 1133–1:2011, in range from 0.1 to 100 g/10 min; density ranging from 0.890 to 0.965 g/cm3; a bulk density in range of 0.35 to 0.60 g/cm3; average diameter (d50) of particles in range from 400 to 800 mcm.
EFFECT: said polyethylene powder containing at least one additive can be successfully used in rotary molding.
