FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hetero-phase polypropylene compositions. A hetero-phase polypropylene composition for injection molding is proposed, characterized by a melt flow index determined at a temperature of 230°C and a load of 2.16 kg in accordance with ISO1133, equal to 10.0-60.0 g/10 min, and containing 80.0-96.0 wt.% of statistical copolymer of propylene and a hetero-phase polypropylene component containing fractions b and c in a mass ratio of b:c from 60:40 to 90:10, where b is homopolymer of propylene or statistical copolymer of propylene and is 3.0-18.0 wt.% of the hetero-phase polypropylene composition, and c is a fraction of elastomeric ethylene-propylene elastomer soluble in cold xylene, having a characteristic viscosity of 0.7-2.0 dl/g and an ethylene content of 12.0-35.0 wt.%, while the component c is 0.5-2.5 wt.% of the hetero-phase polypropylene composition, as well as 0.002-0.60 wt.% of a nucleating or clarifying agent. A molded product made of the proposed composition and the use of the specified composition in the packaging industry are also proposed.
EFFECT: proposed composition provides material with good rigidity, high impact strength, good fluidity in combination with high transparency.
