FIELD: protection systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of creating and improving a physical protection system (PPS) on an important public facility (IPF) and is intended for assessing the efficiency (AE) of an existing or projected PSS in order to select the most effective ways to improve it based on the intruder model adopted on the object. ARMA 3 software, which includes a server program and a client program, is used as a tool for simulating an interaction process in an intruder-IPF PPS system. ARMA 3 software is part of software environment, interaction between elements of which is carried out in accordance with structural diagram. Elements of the program environment are also a database for storing and sorting simulation results, and a control program which is used to control the server program, generate a database structure, perform statistical processing of the results and determine the IPF PPS efficiency indicators.

EFFECT: reduced error of determination of efficiency factors of the IPF PPS due to expansion of the range of input data and use of a mathematical modelling mechanism having high reliability of describing the course of physical processes.
