FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: entire perimetre of the secure facility is divided into sections with calculated shortest distances from the perimetre of each section to each critically vulnerable element. Databases are created in computer memory for characteristics of an arbitrary intruder, standard indicators and combat capability of response forces, time characteristics of inhibiting properties of the security engineered features and calculated distances of possible movements of the arbitrary intruder and response forces. Time indicators of the movement of the arbitrary intruder from the perimetre of the secure facility and an arbitrary mobile group of response forces from the base to each critical element of the facility are calculated; the time indicators are compared and graphic models of the capacity to pre-empt the terrorist act on each critical element of the facility on all sections of the perimetre and a generalised model for the entire facility are created. The graphic models are used to visually assess the degree of security, which depends on the capacity to pre-empt actions of the intruder, and versions of the security system are created, from which the most optimum is selected.
EFFECT: high reliability of the result of determining reliability of level of anti-terrorist protection of secure objects obtained during designing.
