FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to reconstructive hand surgery. On the foot, a skin-muscular graft is formed on an arteriovenous vascular pedicle. Vascular pedicle is cut off from the donor area. Defect of the metacarpal bone or the main phalanx of the second finger is replaced with a musculocutaneous muscular graft on a posterior artery of the foot and a medial saphenous vein, including a segment of the second metatarsal bone, with formation of a muscular flap of a portion of the first dorsal interosseous muscle. Blood circulation in the transplant is restored by anastomosing the vessels of the feed leg with the recipient vessels. After the graft consolidation, the metacarpal phalanx joint is re-implanted to cover its working part with a muscle graft.

EFFECT: method enables improving the results of arthroplasty of metacarpophalangeal joints with a defect of the metacarpal bone or primary phalanx of the second finger by using a blood-supplying bone graft that is not susceptible to resorption, which provides stability of the prosthetic leg, prevention of inflammatory complications and adequate functional results.
