FIELD: labeling.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in packing food, industrial, pharmaceutical and military products with limited storage life, creation of automated systems for recording quality of articles during storage thereof. Label comprises base, zone with inscriptions and/or images, arranged on front surface of base, transparent outer coating, made with formation of cavity, inside which there is zone with letters and symbols, a transparent dye carrier and a sealed container having a bottom and a cover, the lid comprising a base, inside of which there are through holes, and a membrane installed on the base from its outer side, and inside the sealed container there is an indicator dye.
EFFECT: disclosed label enables to control and obtain subsequent information on product shelf life on a label for articles with a wide range of allowable storage life and the possibility of obtaining and automated reading of the product's shelf life visually and in a contactless manner using external devices by a wide range of consumers with relative simplicity, cheapness and manufacturability of the label.
