FIELD: education.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to models and mock-ups for training and checking qualification of operators of industrial processes, in particular, such as drilling with the help of hydraulic prospecting machines. Drill rig training simulator comprises a stand of student (1), which contains panels, which simulate engine start panel and manometers of drilling machine, cranes simulating control of drilling fluid supply and discharge, levers and regulators imitating engine and drilling machine control elements, instructor console (2), which comprises a data input module for setting instructions and a student action control unit, display (3) configured to visually display the drilling process and movement of the elements of the drilling machine, and control system (4), including interacting random access memory, which serves to store current equipment parameters received from student stand, and instructions from instructor panel. Data processing unit (25) and the animation control unit (26) are functionally connected to the display for displaying animation and comprise a controller interacting with the control system. Cranes simulating control of supply and discharge of drilling fluid are equipped with on-off sensors. Levers simulating control elements of motor and drilling machine are equipped with position sensors. Controllers imitating engine and drilling machine control elements are equipped with angular position sensors which can be multi-turn. All sensors are functionally connected to controller for data transmission. Levers simulating engine and drilling machine control elements can be two- and three-position. Data input module for setting instructions is configured to specify drilling parameters and operating modes of equipment. Data processing unit is configured to perform actions, including but not limited to comparing instructions, calculating parameters for indicators, generating random numbers to simulate non-uniform real processes and readings, calculating drilling speed, rotary position and rotational speed.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of training process, availability in training simulator of physical control panel of drilling machine, identical to present, makes it possible to immerse pupils in conditions of real drilling, creation of necessary psychomotor skills of drilling control, performance of successful training of well drilling in safe and controlled environment.
