FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to treatment of gypsum, and more specifically to activation of sediment of accumulated particles or gypsum powder. Gypsum processing device contains a reactor, a gypsum supply unit and a gas flow supply assembly. Reactor has inner wall surface with round or circular horizontal cross-section or configuration. Gypsum supply unit enables the gypsum powder supply to the reaction zone in the reactor. Gas flow supply unit is located in the lower part of the reaction zone. It provides ascending gas flow in reaction zone. As a result, the gypsum powder accumulated in the lower part of the reaction zone is capable of mixing. Device has multiple fixed blades passing to the inner wall surface from the holder located in the central part of the reaction zone. Blades are arranged to be spaced from each other by some angular interval in circumferential direction of said reaction zone. Adjacent blades form flow trajectory for gypsum powder and flow introduced into reaction zone. Flow path is inclined to deflect said flow radially outward and circumferentially in said reaction zone.

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of processing gypsum due to possibility of its processing using a fluidised bed, which enables to activate residue of gypsum powder accumulating in lower part of reaction zone.
