FIELD: test technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tests of gas turbine engines in test benches of test benches and can be used in aircraft industry. Method is characterized by that in the test box of the test bench the value of the engine thrust with the mechanically connected lemniscate nozzle and mass flow of air through the engine are measured. Air temperature, air flow rate and static pressure in the box are measured in the first section of the box, located at a certain distance from the inlet of the lemniscate nozzle, wherein values of air flow velocity in centers of equal areas, number of which is greater than or equal to 25, is measured. In addition, measuring cross-section area of the box, as well as air pressure in the second section of the box, located in the plane corresponding to the output of the external part of the profile of the lemniscate nozzle. Considering the measured values, calculating air density in the first section of the box, total air flow in the first section of the box, average flow rate in the box and relative air flow rate. Values of measured pressures are compared and results of comparison are used to determine the nature of air flow, taking into account the value of pressure drop in the box. Taking into account the measured values, determining the correction value ΔRIP to the input pulse of bench thrust at a certain ratio.
EFFECT: high accuracy and reliability of determining correction value for input pulse of engine thrust rod in test box of test bench.
