FIELD: test technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tests of gas turbine engines, in particular, to methods of tests of gas turbine engines in test benches. Method is characterized by the fact that the value of the reduced engine thrust is determined in the test box of the test bench with a mechanically connected and disconnected lemniscate nozzle and the value of the given correction for the input impulse of the bench thrust as the difference between the given values of bench thrusts. Full pressure at the engine inlet and static pressure in the test box, respectively. In the process of testing additionally determining value of reduced thrust of engine nozzle and measuring total pressure in jet nozzle of engine. Sequence is determined for the degree of pressure reduction in the jet nozzle provided that the degree of pressure reduction is less than its critical value. Value of pressure ratio on engine is determined as total pressure to static pressure, values of corrections to values of engine nozzle thrust are determined depending on deviation from value corresponding to standard conditions equal to 1.0. Values of reduced thrust of nozzle are corrected by values of corrections, and magnitude of correction for input pulse of bench thrust is determined as difference between values of reduced thrusts of engine nozzle depending on engine operating mode.

EFFECT: technical solution allows improving accuracy of determination of specified correction for input pulse to value of reduced engine thrust in (closed) test box of test bench.
