FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser equipment. Tunable diode laser with an external resonator comprises series-mounted on a single optical axis a laser diode, a collimating lens, an interference filter, a focusing lens, a reflecting mirror mounted on a single optical axis behind the focusing lens, and an output reflecting mirror mounted behind the collimating lens and providing output of optical radiation of diode laser at an angle to common optical axis in form of axially symmetric light beam. Interference filter is installed in the frame, built as per differential scheme of two wedges, one of which is fixed and has angle, which is most probable for falling into required wavelength of diode laser generation, and the other one is movable and has an angle corresponding to allowance for the accuracy of the interference filter design, which provide generation in one longitudinal mode.

EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling increase in generation frequency and output power stability.
