SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to apparatus for activating processes of processing materials and fluids in a vortex layer of an electromagnetic field using ferromagnetics in power engineering, oil and gas, metallurgical, chemical industry, agriculture and municipal economy, environmental protection and other industries, as well as can be used for treatment of various liquid media, in particular for cleaning industrial and domestic wastes. Ferromagnetic particle (4) for use as an element of a discrete working medium placed in reaction chamber (3) of a physical-chemical reactor (PCR) with a vortex layer is made in the form of a rod, at least one end of which has a taper in the form of a bulb. Invention also discloses PCR with vortex layer, reaction chamber (3) of which contains discrete working medium consisting of multiple particles (4) according to present invention.

EFFECT: proposed group of inventions makes it possible to increase efficiency and quality of treatment of fluid medium in PCR.
