To implement the method, the UAV is detected, its spatial coordinates are determined, weather data corresponding to the determined spatial coordinates are obtained, performing combined processing of weather data and spatial coordinates data, based on the results of combined data processing and taking into account the UAV motion path, determining spatial coordinates of the point, in which there will be formed a space-extended means of countering the UAV in the form of a cloud, which is formed by firing with anticipation relative to the UAV taking into account the UAV movement parameters and the formation time of the cloud, wherein the shot is carried out from the surface of the earth, or water, or from the aircraft with a shell containing impact elements in the form of abrasive particles and means of their scattering in the atmosphere of the cloud.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of selective impact on UAV in order to counteract or defeat them.
