FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for electromagnetic probing of a sample. Essence of the invention consists in that the device for non-destructive probing of the sample by means of reflection of an electromagnetic wave, the device contains: a frame, an antenna structure, an exciter electrically connected to the antenna structure for sending a probing signal through the antenna structure, a receiver electrically connected to the antenna structure for receiving an echo signal through the antenna structure, at least a first printed circuit board, wherein at least a portion of the exciter and/or receiver is placed on the first printed circuit board, at least a second printed circuit board wherein antenna structure is arranged on second printed circuit board, metal body assembled on frame having first and second opposite sides, at least one electrical connector for electrical connection of first and second printed circuit boards, wherein the first printed circuit board is mounted on the first side of the metal body, and the second printed circuit board is mounted on the second side of the metal body.
EFFECT: technical result is simplification of design.
