SUBSTANCE: harvesting combine comprises thrashing unit containing one or more threshing rotors installed in harvesting machine; rammed grain board, configured to receive a mixture of grains and chaff from the threshing assembly and perform reciprocating movement in the longitudinal direction of the harvester; one or more sieves, configured to receive a layer of grains and chaff from the rammed grain board and perform reciprocating movement in the longitudinal direction of the harvesting machine; drive mechanism, made with possibility to control longitudinal reciprocating movement of rammed grain board, as well as capable of imposing on said longitudinal reciprocating component of lateral reciprocal motion, and control unit, configured to receive input signals displaying one or more parameters associated with harvesting machine operation, wherein said control unit is also configured to calculate lateral component of motion of rammed grain board depending on said input signals; and supplying control signal to said drive mechanism, driving drive command to superimpose calculated lateral component of motion on said longitudinal reciprocating motion of rammed grain board.
