FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agriculture. Method of seeds drying consists in that seeds are loaded, exposed to heated drying agent, dried, cooled and unloaded. There are two types of heating of drying agent - continuous with maximum permissible temperature of drying material heating at given humidity and prolonged drying and intermittent pulsed periodical. Each next heat pulse is added when the material temperature is set lower than the maximum permissible value at given humidity and prolonged drying. Proposed device comprises in-series connected main heat generator, fan, diffuser, discharge chamber communicated via gas-permeable wall with drying chamber covered by detachable grate. Additional heat generator is introduced, the output of which is connected to the input of the fan, a control unit, temperature and humidity sensors. First and second inputs of control unit are connected to outputs of moisture and temperature sensors, and first and second outputs are connected to control inputs of main and additional heat generators respectively. Control unit contains a coding unit for maximum limiting temperature of the drying agent, moisture and temperature meters, a reversing counter, a register, a digital comparator, a multivibrator. Output of coding unit is connected to input of data of reversive counter, input of receiving permission of which is connected to second output of moisture meter, input of which is connected to humidity sensor output, first output is connected to subtraction counter subtraction input, and third output is connected to register synchronization input, data input of which is connected to reverse meter output, and the output to the control input of the main heat generator and the second input of the digital comparator, the first input of which is connected through the temperature measurement unit and the second input of the control unit with the temperature sensor, and the output to the input of the waiting multivibrator, the output of which is the second output of the control unit.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of seeds drying time without deterioration of their quality.
