FIELD: waste processing and disposal.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical reactors for treatment of wastes by processes of oxidation in supercritical water or gasification in supercritical water. Reactor comprises a first reaction volume, which is in fluid communication with the inlet passage for the oxidising agent, with an inlet passage of the first reagent and with an outlet passage for the reaction product, and a second reaction volume, which is in fluid communication with the inlet passage for the second reagent, with an outlet passage for the second reaction product and further coupled with the possibility of heat exchange with the first reaction volume, wherein during operation in first reaction volume oxidation reaction takes place between first reagent and oxidising agent to form first reaction product, and in second reaction volume gasification reaction of second reagent takes place with participation of heat energy flow, which is exchanged between first and second reaction volumes, with formation of second reaction product.
EFFECT: invention provides maximization of efficiency of processes of oxidation and gasification in supercritical water for treatment of wastes of any kind, and also improved strength characteristics of reactor, resistance of the reactor to corrosion and high temperature and immunity of the reactor to problems of driving with precipitated salts.
