FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: device for measuring mass of sprayed soil particles during sprinkling relates to devices used in measuring soil erosion quantitative characteristics, and can be used for studying of drop rain soil erosion both in field and in laboratory conditions. Device consists of a metal body with a movable peak, in the inner cavity of which on the inclined shelf with drain holes there are sealed sections with rectangular cross-section on each other. Additionally, grousers with T-shaped cross-section are lowered under the body and immersed into soil. Annular level with angle is retained on metal housing by magnet, which provides vertical control of housing installation. In operation, each of the sections catches droplets of sprayed water with soil particles at the specified height and holds them. This allows to determine and measure mass of sprayed water and soil particles by altitude horizons at impact action of water drops falling on soil.

EFFECT: high accuracy of determining mass of sprayed soil particles on altitude horizons during sprinkling.
