SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to polyurethanes, articles made therefrom, as well as to compositions and laminates. Polyurethane includes a product of interaction of components, including: (a) an isocyanate functional prepolymer obtained by reacting approximately 1 equivalent of at least one polyisocyanate and from about 0.1 to about 0.4 equivalents of at least one polycarbonate polyol, (c) from about 0.6 to about 0.7 equivalents of trimethylol propane and (d) from about 0.1 to about 0.5 equivalents of butanediol, pentanediol or cyclohexane dimethanol. Prepolymer is obtained while stirring the components in vacuum for 1–3.5 hours at temperature of 110–140 °C.

EFFECT: articles obtained using said polyurethanes have good optical properties, high impact strength, high coefficient K, good ballistic resistance, good resistance to action of solvents and good weather resistance.
