METHOD OF TREATING PATIENTS IN ACUTE AND EARLY RECOVERY PERIOD OF ISCHEMIC STROKE Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61H1/00

Abstract RU 2726593 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to restorative medicine and neurology, and can be used in complex treatment of patients with ischemic stroke in acute and early recovery periods. That is followed by craniosacral manual testing, degree of postural imbalance, then successively performing complex craniosacral manual therapy in reverse order of pathobiomechanical changes and corresponding sanogenesis processes, complex consists of nine stages conducted on 3rd and 10th day from the onset of stroke: eliminating symphysis compression, eliminating pathobiomechanical disorders of sacrum, correcting iliac bones, restoration of trapezoid muscle tone, elimination of functional unit C1-C2, restoration of mobility in atlanto-occipital articulation, elimination of pathobiomechanical changes of sphenobasilar articulation and connective tissue structures of skull, elimination of peripheral pathobiomechanical changes of skull, stimulation of neurodynamic processes restoring liquor- and haemodynamics.

EFFECT: method promotes recovery of mobility of atlanto-occipital, sphenobasilar articulations and connective tissue structures of skull, leads to elimination of postural imbalance, reduced intensity of paresis, reduced manifestations of cognitive-mnestic disorders and severity of anxiety and depression, increases motivation to recover, normalises arterial and venous blood flow, cerebrospinal fluid circulation, improves metabolic, neurodynamic processes of brain, improves overall health, concentration of attention, emotional background, positively affects the quality of life of patients by successive administration.
