FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: plant is intended for cucurbits crops drying and can be used at food industry enterprises. Plant for convective drying of pumpkin seeds consists of drying chamber equipped with branch pipes for pumpkin seeds loading and unloading, inside of which inclined perforated bottom and air-distributing channels are located, wherein drying chamber by means of supply air duct is communicated with cyclone, connected to hot water circulation line, into closed circuit of which sludge collector is connected, circulating pump and water heater; sprinklers are located inside the cyclone, and the upper cyclone nozzle is communicated with the outlet air duct containing the fan. At the same time in the upper part of the drying chamber there is additionally installed a transmission mechanism with vertical mixing elements, and the outlet air duct additionally contains a heater installed after the fan, which is interconnected with air-distributing channels of the drying chamber, thus forming a circulation circuit.

EFFECT: plant allows to increase efficiency of operation due to intensification of process and multiple use of heat of drying agent.
