FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed invention relates to a two-step pneumatic separation method of grain mixture and can be used in preparation of grains for grinding. Method of two-stage pneumatic separation of grain mixture includes its supply by gravity into stone sampler, made in form of vertical product pipeline, creation in it of controlled upward air flow and removal of heavy impurities from it, formation of air mixture and its supply to pneumatic separator, adjustment of air flow rate in pneumatic separator, gravity deposition of grain and removal of light impurities from pneumatic separator via pneumatic line. Vertical product pipeline is made in the form of an aspiration channel of constant cross-section. Air mixture movement in aspiration channel is performed in turbulent mode. Air mixture is fed into air separator at flow rate equal to flow rate in product pipeline. Speed of air flow in vertical air duct and air separator is controlled by shutter located in pneumatic line for withdrawal of light fraction fractions from pneumatic separator.

EFFECT: simplified technology of grain separation.
