FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to oncology. To detect additional portion of mammary gland, beginning of subjective sensation of pain in area of mammary glands before menstruation, palpation of glands and adjacent areas, tactile detection of skin compaction, volumetric or convex formation of elastic nature. Local surface temperature of the mammary gland is examined using a thermal imager from the first day of sensation of pains in the mammary gland daily until menstruation is completed, thereafter, the recording is performed once in 5 days throughout the menstrual cycle until another occurrence of a subjective sensation of tenderness in the mammary gland. Conclusion on the presence, localization, shape and size of the hypo- or hyperthermia section, its relation to the periods of the menstrual cycle of the examined woman is presented, and a recommendation on a puncture biopsy with a cytological examination of the biopsy material is given. After obtaining the results of cytological analysis, the obtained results are analysed and the final diagnosis is stated.
EFFECT: method provides higher efficacy, safety and accuracy of detecting an additional proportion of mammary gland.
