FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to infra-red diagnostics, and can be applied for the infra-red diagnostics of the cheek structure. For this purpose the registration of the cheek temperature is realised by a method of infra-red thermography by means of a thermovision camera. As the thermovision camera applied is an apparatus with the function of colour infra-red imaging of the cheek on a monitor depending on its local temperature in the range of +26-+37°C. After that, drinking water is introduced into the oral cavity at a temperature of +42°C for the term up to 3 minutes. The volume of the introduced drinking water is determined by the complete filling of the oral cavity. When the cheek hyperthermia develops and the maximal difference of temperature in its selected part is achieved, thermograms are compared. In case of a uniform cheek temperature a conclusion about the homogeneous cheek structure is made. In case of the presence of an area with local hypo- or hyperthermia, its shape, size and localisation are concretised, the data are analysed and a conclusion about the shape, size and localisation of the area with respectively low or high heat conductivity in the cheek is produced.
EFFECT: method ensures the diagnostics of the cheek structure with the simplification and increase of its safety and can be widely applied including in pregnant women and small children.
