FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: application describes reactor (versions) for heterogeneously catalysed gas-phase reactions with one built-in element or several built-in elements, in-series located in flow direction of gas mixture of heterogeneously catalyzed gas-phase reaction through reactor, wherein built-in elements propagate throughout the cross section of reactor. One or more built-in elements are at least partially made of ceramic fibrous composite material. Ceramic fiber composite material is formed from a ceramic matrix, into which ceramic fibers are embedded, in which ceramic matrix and ceramic fibers are made from oxide ceramic or ceramic matrix and ceramic fibers are made from oxide ceramic and ceramic fibers have diameter in range of 10 to 12 mcm.
EFFECT: due to use of the built-in element from high-temperature fibrous ceramics, the tendency of loose material of the catalyst to funnel formation due to low thermal expansion of the mineral-ceramic basket is considerably reduced.
