FIELD: calibration, certification and verification of gyroscopes during laboratory, Manufacturer s and acceptance tests. SUBSTANCE: gyroscope is placed on inclined swivel table with input axis directed orthogonally relative to celestial axis. Then, several measuring positions are set by rotating the inclined swivel table around celestial axis and around input axis of gyroscope at definite angles. Number of different magnitudes of angle of turn around input axis of gyroscope is more than two. Use is made of pairs of measuring positions when projections of vector of angular velocity of Earth daily rotation on input axis of gyroscope caused by error of aligning input axis of gyroscope relative to celestial axis and misalignment of inclined swivel table reverses its sign. Then, total drift in measuring positions of inclined swivel table are measured and gyroscope drift components are determined.
