FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, particularly, to production of steels for production of parts for machine building from rolled coil, incl. elements of cars, tractors, agricultural machines. Method includes steel making in steelmaking unit, steel output into steel-ladle, out-of-furnace treatment, teeming, hot rolling and coiling of strips into rolls, at that steel is melted, containing, wt.%: carbon 25–0.4, manganese 0–1.6, silicon 10–0.6, sulfur not more than 0.03, phosphorus not more than 0.03, chromium not more than 0.2, nickel not more than 0.2, copper not more than 0.2, aluminum 0.005–0.15, niobium not more than 0.1, titanium 0.001–0.2, nitrogen not more than 0.015, boron 0.0005–0.02, iron and unavoidable impurities – the rest, at that release of steel from the steelmaking unit is performed at its oxidation not more than 1,000 ppm and temperature of not less than 1,550 °C for 3–7 minutes, hot rolling is started at temperature of 930–1,070 °C is terminated at 780–950 °C, and strip stripping is carried out at temperature 500–700 °C.
EFFECT: invention reduces content of non-metallic inclusions in steel and enables to obtain hot-rolled products with improved consumer properties, including mechanical properties.
