FIELD: turning treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of turning hollow thin-wall cylindrical articles. Method for fixation on a lathe of a hollow cylindrical article having a bottom on the side of one of the ends and an open other end, includes placing the article on the support adopted in the chuck of the machine tool, with the contact of the stop in the basing surfaces of the cavity of the article, at that, in the cavity of the product on the side of the open end, expanding ring sectors are rigidly connected to the cams of the lathe holder, by means of which said sectors are released to the surface of the product cavity against the stop, at that, the support with a replaceable profile, which corresponds to the form of the basing surfaces of the cavity of products, is used.
EFFECT: use of invention increases accuracy and quality of machining.
