FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil industry and can be used in forecasting of operation of main oil pipelines operating not at design capacities. Disclosed is method of increasing efficiency of operation of main oil pipelines using existing pumping equipment of pumping stations, consisting in the fact that at the first stage specific current pipeline is chosen, parameters of pumped liquid are determined. Further, using various combinations of main pumps, and control of pipeline system, working point of crossing of flow rate and pressure characteristics of pipeline and total flow-pressure characteristic of operating pumps is obtained. Thereafter, the pump selection combinations are selected correctly by constructing the hydraulic slope line. Using the obtained data, a generalized indicator of efficiency of operation of installed pumping equipment is calculated.
EFFECT: optimization of operation of pipeline technologic section due to introduction of generalized indicator of efficiency of operation of installed pumping equipment.
