SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical equipment. According to method coordination of protection of supply lines adjacent to insulating coupling, is carried out due to information connection between currents of supply lines adjacent to insulating coupling, with measurement of predicted current increment upon closing of insulating interface by current collector of electric stock and occurrence of transfer of load from one feed line to another at the moment of appearance of this current transfer, which causes current increments in supply lines, not exceeding half of maximum load of adjacent supply line.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of supply lines protection, in particular in reduction of number of false actuations of protections.
