SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device and a method for dispensing a taste additive. Device for dispensing a taste additive contains a chamber for containing a taste additive, a dosing plate having a hole passing through it, and a dispensing opening. At that, the dispensing opening is located inside the chamber, and the device for dosing the food additive additionally contains a separating surface, located above the dispensing opening and configured to separate the upper side of the opening from the chamber, at least when the dispensing plate is in the second position. Device further comprises a guide member, which vertically guides and compresses the food additive in the opening of the dispensing plate, wherein guiding element is wedge-like element having inclined surface located above opening in place between first and second positions, and inclined surface is inclined at acute angle to direction of metering plate movement from first position to second position, and wedge-shaped element additionally contains said separating surface, wedge-like element is detachably connected to the chamber such that during use the wedge-shaped element is placed above the upper surface of the metering plate and is rigidly held relative to the chamber, and the dispensing plate is removable from the chamber through the chamber when the wedge-like element is disconnected from the chamber.
EFFECT: higher dosing reliability and accuracy.
