FIELD: forestry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forestry, in particular, to methods for sowing of macrocarpous seeds of forest cultures, for example, oak acorns. Method for sowing acorns on matted forest soils involves creating a sowing furrow with formation of a protective zone, milling a sowing furrow, sowing seeds and compacting the soil. Creation of a sowing furrow is performed by cutting a matted soil formation at depth H=80–100 mm, its rotation and laying in the form of a continuous belt near the sowing furrow with a disk body, with simultaneous cutting of plant roots bordering the sowing furrow.
EFFECT: invention allows to optimize process of acorns planting into soil, to increase its energy efficiency and to improve the acorns germinating ability.
