FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method of sowing acorns into containers while growing oak seedlings with the closed root system involves filling the containers with a substrate. Acorns are sown with the pointed part upwards, being placed in the cell center to the depth of 1.0 cm from the substrate surface.
EFFECT: improving the plant survival and growth after transplantation to open ground due to the formation of physiologically active roots of the second and third order, improving the stability of the earth clod after extracting from the container excluding the root system deformation.
