FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering, particularly, to nonconventional converters of thermal energy into mechanical work. It can be used in drives of electric units, tubing and other equipment of industrial, agricultural and other purposes with primary use of renewable natural energy resources, as well as energy of heat-containing emissions into environment. Heat-mechanical converter is equipped with a single heat-sensitive element (HSE), which is at the same time drive shaft, made in the form of thin-walled pipe from non-plastic material with high coefficient of thermal expansion, contacting in its working bend with thrust roller. At that, HSE is located in common shell with heating and cooling zones with heat energy recovery.
EFFECT: such design simplifies the device, improves heat exchange of HSE with flows of heat carrier, which increases temperature change rate of its segments, thereby increasing shaft rotation frequency and obtained power.
