SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the food industry. Disclosed is a method for microwave vacuum drying of tea, according to which inside vacuum drying chamber tea is placed and subjected to microwave heating in vacuum. Simultaneously with UHF heating of tea in vacuum, repeated operation of inlet-outlet of controlled portion of gas from said chamber is performed, note here that said gas is introduced inside chamber from below relative to tea arranged therein, and is removed from above from above. A device for the method implementation is additionally produced.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at acceleration of tea drying process.
