FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: drying method includes several thermal-vacuum pulse cycles: of material heating to the temperature not causing denaturation of their initial qualitative characteristics, velocity pulse vacuum treatment, exposure after vacuum treatment, relief of vacuum to atmospheric pressure. Material is heated in drying chamber and vacuum is released with dried air or gas heat carrier with temperature of up to 300°C. Plant for implementing the drying method includes two drying chambers with tightly closing doors, which are connected via pipelines with quick-acting valves with receiver, heat exchangers-condensers, condenser tanks, vacuum pump, heating device of heat carrier, which is placed in a separate chamber with thermal insulation and connected by means of heat insulated supply air pipelines with valves with inlet of each drying chamber. Inside each chamber there installed with possibility of rotation is container with a pipe along rotation axis; at that, either pipe surface is perforated for supply of heat carrier, and side surface of container housing is meshed and intended for discharge of heat carrier, or end wall of container housing for supply of heat carrier is perforated, and end surface is meshed and intended for discharge of heat carrier.

EFFECT: reduction of drying time and improvement of the drying quality of dried materials, manufacture, entrainment of volatile oils and biologically rich components from dried materials.
