FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: optical fiber lighting and heating device with an optical method of tracking a fixed concentrator behind the sun includes a concentrator of three flat radial Fresnel lenses, a receiving focon, an optical cable, and a diffuser. Third guide gradient Fresnel lens has two focal points spaced apart, has a multilayer structure with a decreasing refractive index of each successive layer. On side faces of this lens there are gradient focons smoothly changing into gradient optical cable. All parts of the device are made of quartz glass or other material with wide spectrum of transmission of visible light and infrared radiation.
EFFECT: creation of a flat concentrator of visible solar and infrared radiation, in which the output stream is directed along the input receiving surface of the concentrator, without electromechanical tracking systems and suitable for lighting and for heating of rooms.
