FIELD: energy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering, namely to conversion of solar radiation to electricity by means of thermal machines, and can be used, in particular, in turret-type solar power plants. Solar power plant comprises a turret, on the upper end of which there is a solar radiation receiver, associated with a thermal machine, connected to an electric generator. Near the turret there are heliostats, made of concentric elements consisting of a lens with large focal distance F, lens with a small focal distance f, a compound conical concentrator of total internal reflection and an optical cable, in the concentric elements the lens with focus f is located at distance F+f from the lens with focus F, an inlet the compound conical concentrator is in the lens with focus f, and its outlet is connected to a fibre-optic cable with a diameter equal to a diameter of an output of the compound conical concentrator. Outlet ends of the fibre-optic cables of the concentric elements are combined into a bundle, which is attached to a post, placed near the heliostat, and is directed so, that beams of concentrated solar radiation coming out of fibre-optic cables, fall on the solar radiation receiver.
EFFECT: invention enables conversion of solar radiation into a parallel concentrated light flux.
