FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: solar fiber-optic illumination device contains a hub, fiber-optic cable harness, and a diffusing lens. Hub is stationary with an optical method of pointing the light flux to the entrance of the fiber optic bundle and contains a cylindrical tapering Fresnel lens on the inner surface of the transparent dome-shaped body, the focus of which is the second transparent dome with a cylindrical expanding Fresnel lens, on the third internal transparent dome there are asymmetrical cylindrical strip Fresnel lenses, the focusing plane of which is perpendicular to the focusing plane of the two previous lenses. Striped narrowing lenses additionally have gradually changing angles of refraction of the luminous flux, each of which corresponds to one of the positions of the sun in the sky during the day.
EFFECT: technical result – reducing the loss of light energy, reducing weight and wind load, increasing the working time during the day, increasing the service life and reliability when lighting dark rooms that are difficult to access for sunlight.
