FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and will find application in cleaning drain water before using it for irrigation or diversion into water intake. System includes a cassette-supporting device fixed in the canal bed, in the form of a metal frame with a meshed front wall, a meshed rear wall made inclined to turn in a vertical plane. Cassettes are placed in a cassette-supporting device in the form of a vertical truncated prism in rows, the width of which gradually decreases from the bottom of the canal to its surface. On the outer surface of the front wall there is a screen made from a flexible polymer mesh, and in the upper part of the cassette-supporting device there is a tray for collection of garbage from the screen. Behind the cassette-supporting device, a stoplog retaining wall is fixed downstream the canal slope and connected with a through branch pipe in the lower part equipped with a shut-off valve on the side of the aft bay.

EFFECT: proposed system of structures ensures uniformity of using filtering material due to that support stoplog leveling dynamic pressure of drain water flow to filter material, and increasing width of rows of cassettes from top to bottom controls static head of water layer, providing operation of entire mass of filter material and required degree of drainage discharge cleaning, wherein screen from synthetic mesh allows periodic removal of floating litter, preventing colmatage of cassettes.
