SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture and can be used in the accumulation of melt water in spring, discharged by drainage from the drained area. The accumulated water can be used for irrigation during dry periods, as well as for other economic purposes. The drainage storage pond is coupled with a drainage collector and is equipped with a protective screen made of strips of membrane film, interconnected by quick-release and bayonet connections, which is mounted on cables attached to floats and connected to winches installed on opposite sides of the pond. The protective screen is divided into two parts, interconnected by a container fixed on cables and consisting of a rigid frame on which a container is mounted from a mesh with cells of 1.0-1.5 mm, while a brush is installed on the frame, equipped with cables, the ends of which led to additional winches installed on the banks at the short sides of the pond, where inclined troughs are made. The floats for fastening the cable are equipped with support platforms made with the possibility of sequentially changing their height above the float surface with increasing height from the container frame to the shore.

EFFECT: proposed design of the drainage storage pond makes it possible to increase the reliability of the screen by washing away debris and dust from its surface by rain due to the inclination of the screen created by attaching it to the support platforms, the height of which is successively increased from the middle of the pond, where the mesh container is located, to the shore.
