SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary science and concerns a method for preventing digestive disorders and stimulating growth of newborn lambs. Method is characterized by that, on the third day of life, lambs are fed, on the third day of life, 5 ml of 3 % aqueous sodium acetate solution 15–30 °C from the cannula of the syringe on the tongue root for 7 days before the morning feeding and on 8th day is switched to a common diet.

EFFECT: using the invention enables preventing dysbacteriosis and stimulating the growth of newborn lambs.
