FIELD: glass.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an article with low-emission coating and can be used as window blocks from heat-insulating glass (insulating glass units), windows for vehicles, other types of windows. Disclosed is a coated article comprising a coating resting on a glass substrate and having a grey colour when reflected from the side of the glass. Said coating includes: first and second infrared (IR) radiation reflecting layers containing silver; a first contact layer located above the first infrared radiation-reflecting layer containing silver, and directly in contact with it; a dielectric layer containing silicon nitride located over the first contact layer and directly in contact therewith; second contact layer located above said layer containing silicon nitride; a third contact layer located above the second IR-reflecting layer and directly in contact therewith; another dielectric layer containing silicon nitride located above the third contact layer. Wherein the dielectric layer containing silicon nitride is separated by a separating absorbing layer containing Nb and Zr so that the separating absorbing layer containing Nb and Zr is placed between the first part of the dielectric layer containing silicon nitride, and the second part of the silicon nitride-containing dielectric layer, and is in contact therewith. Said coated article has visible light transmission of 20–45 %, visible light reflection on the film side and visible light reflection on the glass side of 10–24 %; and has a grey colour when reflected from the glass side, such that the coated article has a reflection a* on the glass side from −4.0 to +5.0 and a reflection value b* on the glass side from −7.0 to −1.0.

EFFECT: high longevity of glass, combined with low specific surface resistance, low transmission of visible light and low SF and/or SHGC, as well as providing grey colour on the side of glass.
